Handgloves v1.1.1
Aug 03
With handgloves still under extensive development, I have decided to go ahead and release the wigetized version that is merged in the current development version. Feel free to try it out, and let me know if there is anything you want added to it, removed from it or just completely changed.
I am open to working with anyone who wants to help improve this project. It has slowed down a lot since George and I first started working on it, and like me, I am sure he would be more than happy to have more capable hands working with us.
Extract the zip, and upload both folders to your wp-content folder.

Hi there,
I have tried installing the v1.1.1 which allows the use of widgets, but doesn’t seem to allow the use of both the nice sidebar elements and added widgets of our choice. If I add normal widgets…it adds CSS to them and such like but there’s no way of adding the Posts | Twitter | Flickr elements unless you remove all the widgets from the sidebar.
Have I missed something? Is it possible to widgetise the Posts | Twitter | Flickr elements so we can add them to the sidebar as we would with normal widgets?
Thanks so much for the theme though, it looks great. You can see what we’ve done with it at http://www.breastcancercare.org.uk/celebritytrek
Thanks
Thomas
Thomas,
It was not planned to create a widget of the post|twitter|flicker piece but I can see the appeal. I will start working on either a permanent widget at the top of the side bar or a full on widget you can drag around.
Thank you for pointing this out.
Jeremy
Love the theme. I’m really excited to put it to use, but I’m running into a couple stumbling blocks; not sure if it’s a me problem or a theme problem.
For whatever reason, images do not seem to align correctly. Even if I specify for them to be aligned “right”, all seemed to be aligned left. Also, I have WP-Latex plugin for in-text equations, and while the equations show up, they experience the same problem of being pushed to the left-hand side of the page.
Any ideas? Thanks; keep up the good work!
Fantastic theme, I’ve used it on one of my friends blogs. Very well done!
